My Yoga practice with Jac is nothing short of life transforming! As a person and as an instructor, she is so generous, passionate and dedicated in helping me reach whatever goals I see in the future. I am truly blessed to have had such as opportunity to have had her in my Journey.

.... I was quite immature with my practice when I moved to Port Moresby. Disappointed thinking PNG would not be a place I could develop and grow, I resigned to that fact, and put my yoga mat in storage. Upon arriving, I met a breath of fresh air, someone who not only taught yoga, she integrated a unique lust for life into classes, Jackie. Jackie taught classes at sunrise and sunset outside over water. This to me, was heaven. Jackie passed on her experience with every pose and ensured we flowed through them intentionally with our mind, body and spirit. Jackie also did classes in her home, afterwards we would share a fresh tea and have stimulating discussions on life to enrich our own journeys.. I’m now content in my yoga practice and thrilled with how it enriches my life, all because of Jackie’s teachings. Im going to miss having convenient access to Jackie’s classes, however her legacy does live on in the group she has formed here in PNG. Thanks Jackie, for everything really ....

I started my yoga journey with Jackie in 2016. Every session is unique and adapted to her clients. I continued yoga with Jackie all the way through my pregnancy. I leave each session inspired and able to do a little bit more than when I went in, she constantly pushes me, stretching my comfort zone. I have loved every minute of Jackie’s lessons.

I did classes with Jackie while I was living in Port Moresby for the best part of 4 years. She took me to places I never thought possible and I ended up doing 3-4 classes a week. I have many fond yoga memories by the harbour with the sun rising or setting and other classes that pushed my body to its sweaty limits! No class was ever the same. Approaching 50 I don’t think I have been fitter and the many years of lower back ache are now a distant memory. I have now left Port Moresby but have continued integrating yoga into my life. I miss Jackie’s classes immensely but her teaching will continue to travel with me for ever more. I can’t recommend Jackie highly enough. Her positive energy, grace and excellent teaching skills will reward yogis at all levels.

Finding yoga came to me a bit later in life. On arrival in Papua New Guinea I stumbled upon Jackie and Fock Yoga. And what a find that was! My life changed. I had been so rigid in my approach to everything, so caught up in perfection and so consumed by anxiety. I attended Jackie’s classes and I was in awe of how I felt after the very first class. Yoga is not about the destination but rather the journey and I learnt that quickly. No two days are alike. Jackie taught me to accept that and just run with it. Through her wonderful lessons I learnt to just let go, play and go where my body wanted to. And guess what happened... I become really happy. Jackie taught me through yoga that there is a balance between effort and surrender and we strive to find it on and off the mat. I learnt that yoga is moving meditation and without Jackie’s help to discover this, I literally would not be on this wonderful yoga journey.
